1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect
- Account information: name, email, country
- Financial data: assets, debts, income (entered by you only)
- Usage data: analytics (with your consent)
- Payment data: processed by Paddle, card details never reach SettleLens
3. How We Use Data
- Service delivery: scenario analysis, report generation
- Account management and billing
- Service improvement (anonymous, aggregated)
4. AI Processing
Your financial scenarios are analyzed via Anthropic's Claude API. Your data is not stored at Anthropic and is not used for model training. Sensitive financial data is never logged to developer consoles.
5. Data Sharing
- Paddle — payment processing (Merchant of Record)
- Supabase — database (EU servers)
- Resend — email delivery
- PostHog — analytics (consent only)
We never sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising purposes.
6. Your Rights
- Access: request a copy of your data
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: delete your account and all data (permanent within 30 days)
- Portability: download your data in JSON format
- Objection: object to certain processing

7. Data Retention
Financial data is retained while your account is active. On account deletion, data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Audit logs are retained for 2 years for regulatory reasons (no personal data).
8. Security
Supabase Row Level Security: only you can access your own data. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Paddle manages payment security; SettleLens stores no card data.
